Boulder film screening of the award winning doccumentary War Child November 15th at 6:30 pm
Please join The Sudan Genocide Response Team on November 15th, 2009, at 6:30 PM for a showing of the world acclaimed film, War Child. War Child, an award-winning documentary directed by C. Karim Chrobog, chronicles the tumultuous, shocking, inspiring, and ultimately hopeful odyssey of Emmanuel Jal. A former child soldier of Sudan’s brutal civil war, he is now an emerging international hip hop star sharing a message of peace for his war-torn land and beloved Africa. Colorado’s own Sudanese war child, Mario Lokidicho, will address the audience about his trip to South Sudan to take medical supplies and essentials to his Didinga people. All proceeds from this screening will go to this relief effort.
