WRITE A LETTER or op-ed for our Boulder County newspapers. Inform and inspire others by writing a letter or editorial that expresses your caring along with those facts you wish to highlight. Simple, short letters are often the most effective!

Once you write your letter, you can mail or e-mail it to the following newspapers. (Most people send it simultaneously to several of them.):

Daily Camera: Letters: 300-word maximum and must include your name, address and daytime phone (but they will only publish your name). For purposes of verification, your address and telephone number where you can be reached during working hours must be furnished, although we do not publish them. Letters longer than 300 words will be shortened.

Op-Eds: Columns should be about 725 words and be accompanied by a black-and-white headshot.  Both text and photo can be sent as e-mail attachments. We also need a short biographical paragraph. They generally don’t publish columns that have appeared in other Front Range publications. For all papers: If you don’t see your letter in the paper in two weeks, it is helpful to make a follow-up call. Ask to speak with the editor of the editorial page. Ask if they received your letter and if they will be publishing it.
